Since its creation, Fondation Mérieux aims to stimulate scientific reflection. Its organizes numerous symposia and conferences to discuss current public health issues in France, in Les Pensieres Conference Centre and abroad in the Centres of Infectiology Charles and Christophe Mérieux.
