Fondation Mérieux is organizing projects to improve local health infrastructures, particularly in the field of biology, using a global approach to the problems of public health in developing countries, in addition to its scientific activities.
To help establish a long-term health policy, Fondation Mérieux is setting up and equipping « Rodolphe Mérieux » sentinel laboratories in developing countries and helping to modernize the existing local health structures.
