Fondation Mérieux provides support to populations in developing countries, in particular to women and children with infectious diseases.
It is also involved with setting up micro-credits for women infected with HIV / AIDS and who are involved in the programs set up by the Foundation, lifting them from poverty.
The Foundation is also involved in actions to provide access to care by supporting the municipal emergency services in Mali. It also contributes to projects to provide greater accessibility to screening for different infectious diseases.
