« Roots for life »
Infectious diseases kill nearly 14 million people throughout the world each year. Every day 30,000 children under the age of 5 die from preventable and curable infectious diseases.
90% of these victims live in developing countries, where millions of people are infected by HIV / AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis each day.
It is for these men, women and children that the Fondation Mérieux is fighting, to overcome infectious disease and improve public health in developing countries.
