Located on the shores of Lake Annecy, Fondation Mérieux's Les Pensières conference center was created to provide a place of work and discussion for those working in international public health, and in particular, the struggle to control infectious diseases.
The many conferences and training courses organized against this exceptional background offer unique opportunities for meetings and discussions between scientists – researchers, health workers, laboratory managers and technicians, manufacturers… – from developed and developing nations.
