Voluntary testing for HIV virus in pregnant women followed by a proposal for support for 6 months after childbirth.
From July 2011 to June 2012, 309 voluntary tests were performed.
347 pregnant women benefited form early viral load surveillance and 195 children were born ; the rate of vertical transmission was estimated at 5.5% (certainty will be obtained at 18 months old).
In addition, support and antiretroviral treatment were provided free of charge to 3,141 patient, including 2,105 women and 211 children under 15 years.
Health education, especially for women.
Fight against malnutrition and nutritional support intended mainly fot pregnant women with monthly food deliveries. 9,449 food parcels were distributed, including 7,766 for women.
