10th GABRIEL network meeting

June 17-20, 2019 - Beirut (Lebanon)

Context

Saint Joseph University of Beirut is hosting the GABRIEL research network meeting from June 17-20, 2019. Co-organized with the Mérieux Foundation and Lebanese University, this international conference brings together 68 participants and 36 speakers from 20 countries. A symposium is organized under the high patronage of Lebanon’s Minister of Public Health, His Excellency Dr. Jamil Jabak, on June 18th for a wide audience of local and international scientists and healthcare professionals, addressing the theme: “Hot Topics in Infectious Diseases”.

This 10th edition of the GABRIEL network’s international meeting is supported by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The meeting is also supported by the event’s sponsors, Biocentric, Bioteck, SARAMED and BIODIAGNOSTIC, as well as by GABRIEL’s partners, bioMérieux and BIOASTER. The 20 member institutions of the GABRIEL network meet every 18 months to present and discuss the results of collaborative research studies and design new projects.
