Global Health Security Conference: linkages between pandemic preparedness and laboratory capacity

Panel discussion organized by the Mérieux Foundation

June 11, 2026

Room 401 & 402 - Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre . Malaysia

The Mérieux Foundation is hosting a plenary panel during the next Global Health Security Conference.

The fourth Global Health Security Conference (GHS2026) will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from June 9 to 12, 2026.

As we face growing threats such as emerging infectious diseases, escalating climate-related health emergencies, and the erosion of trust in public health institutions, the need for collective action has never been greater. These challenges demand coordinated, cross-sectoral responses that are grounded in evidence, equity, and innovation.

GHS2026 will bring together global leaders, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to exchange knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and shape the future of health security. By uniting voices across disciplines and borders, we aim to build a safer, healthier, and more resilient world for all.
