Les Pensières Center of Global Health, Veyrier-du-Lace . France

Context

Background

Arboviruses such as dengue, chikungunya, Zika, and yellow fever continue to pose a major challenge to global public health, particularly in regions where ecological conditions favor vector proliferation. Climate change, urbanization, and increased mobility are exacerbating the risk of epidemics.

This meeting aims to bring together leading scientists and public health professionals to share knowledge, review current strategies, and strengthen collaboration to improve surveillance, prevention, and response.

Objectives

– Review the current epidemiological situation of arboviruses in affected areas.

– Share best practices in surveillance, vector control, and epidemic response.

– Identify gaps and research priorities for arbovirus prevention and control.

– Strengthen regional and international collaboration among relevant stakeholders.

– Develop recommendations for integrated arbovirus management strategies.
